Description

No. 57 Fore Street is a terraced house that has been converted into a restaurant. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and features a stucco exterior with a slate roof. The building has three storeys and three windows. It retains elements of a 19th-century shopfront, which includes a central entrance and, to the right, a house door with an overlight and a 20th-century door. The first-floor windows are segmental arched, 12-pane hornless sashes that are slightly recessed with exposed boxing. The second-floor windows are square-headed, deeply recessed 4-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along Fore Street.
