Description

Verdun Farmhouse is a tenement farmhouse, probably dating from the 18th century. It features rendered cob above a rubble plinth and has a thatched roof that is hipped at the right end. There is a brick stack at the left end. The building is two storeys high and has a central hall passage with two rooms. It has a three-window range with late 19th or early 20th century fenestration, consisting of four-paned sashes, with two similar sashes flanking a brick porch that has a gabled slate roof. There is a plaque marked "J 1917 M" located between the two left-hand first floor windows. The interior has not been inspected.
