Description

CHULMLEIGH CHULMLEIGH ss 6814 -6914 7/36 Churchyard railings, gates and gatepiers north of Church of St Mary Magdalene GV II Churchyard railings, gates and gatepiers. C19 cast and wrought iron railings on low rendered plinth with larger verticals at intervals which have scrolled brackets on south side, all with fleur-de-lys style finials. Gatepiers and gates occupy second bay from left end, in similar style, the gatepiers of square section with Greek key motif and gates with fleur-de-lys finials at the dog, middle and top rails.
