Description
The Methodist Chapel is a non-conformist chapel built in 1838. It is constructed from painted rendered stone rubble and features an asbestos slate roof with a gable end on the right and a rendered stack at the left end. The building is rectangular in shape and has two storeys, built into a bank, with access to the chapel on the first floor from the east side.
On the east and west sides, there are two opposing round-arched windows that retain their original glazing bars. The east side also has a central blind semi-circular headed window with a plaque above it that reads "Wesleyan Chapel 1838," and a 20th-century door located at the right-hand end. Additionally, there are two 12-paned sash windows on the ground floor of the gable end.
