Description

Chapters Cottage is a late 17th- to early 18th-century cottage located in Kennerleigh. It is constructed with plastered cob on rubble footings, and has a cob or rubble stack with a plastered brick shaft, topped with a thatched roof. Originally a single-room dwelling, it faces south and has a rear wall backing onto the churchyard. A stack projects from the left (west) end. The cottage is two storeys high, with a two-window front featuring 20th-century casements with glazing bars. A door is positioned at the right end. The roof is half-hipped at each end. The interior has not been inspected.
