Description

Corn mill at Nether, built in the mid-19th century, is constructed of random rubble with a gabled-end slate roof and stands three stories tall. It features various openings at each level, including two 2-light windows that face the adjacent house. The mill has an overshot water wheel and retains much of its original machinery and all internal partitions. Originally used for milling corn, it continued to operate for milling animal feed until the Second World War, but it is no longer in use.
