Description

Noraway Headstone, located approximately 7 metres east of the aisle of the Church of All Saints, is a Grade II listed headstone dated 1782 in memory of Thomas Noraway. It is made of limestone and features an upright slab that stands about 1.3 metres high. The top of the slab has a shaped head carved as a bifurcated scroll. The inscription below is in neat upper and lower case Roman serif lettering, commemorating the death of Thomas Noraway in 1782 and noting that the stone was erected by Henry A Fellowes Esq. in memory of a 'faithful servant'.
