Description

EGGESFORD SS 61 SE 1/56 Noraway Headstone approximately - 7 metres east of aisle of Church of All Saints GV II Headstone. Dated 1782 in memory of Thomas Noraway. Limestone. Upright slab with shaped head standing approximately 1.3 metres high. The shaped head is carved as a bifurcated scroll. The inscription below in neat upper and lower case Roman serif lettering records the death of Thomas Noraway in 1782 and that the stone was erected by Henry A Fellowes Esq. in memory of a 'faithful servant'.
