Description
Riverside Cottage is a farmhouse located in Craze Lowman, dating from the 16th or 17th century with later alterations. The building features cob walls and a water-reed thatched roof that is hipped on the left side. There is a brick stack towards the left and a brick end stack on the right, with a tiled roof on the rear outshut. The cottage has a two-room plan plus a later outshut at the back.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical three-window front. It features early 20th-century and reproduction three-light casements, along with a central doorway that has a late 19th-century V-jointed door with two glazed top panels. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to retain original features of interest.
