Description

ST 01 SE UFFCULME 4/132 Barn 10 metres south south-west of - Hackpen Barton II Barn, probably originally a threshing barn. C17. Cob on a stone plinth; gable end corrugated iron roof. 2 sets of opposed wagon entrances, one with the roof forming a catslide canopy. Some old boarded doors to front, probably C19. Roof with 2 jointed cruck trusses, the blades resting on templates set about 2' above ground level; pegged and morticed at apex. 2 other pegged and crossed collar rafter trusses.
