CREDITON HAMLETS HOOKWAY Brambles Cottage

Small cottage. Probably C18, modernised circa 1980. Plastered cob on volcanic rubble footings; cob or rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatched roof hipped each side. 2-room plan with stack in north west end (right of front) faces north- east. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front of circa 1980 wooden casements with glazing bars and contemporary central door with timber gabled hood of same date. Plain carpentry detail inside.
