Description

This is a house with a later shop, dating from the 1790s, located on Chapel Street in Tiverton. A shop was inserted into the left side of the building in the 20th century. The front is painted Flemish bond brick, while the rear elevation is stone rubble. It has a gabled slate roof and end stacks with brick shafts marked by brick bands. The building is two rooms deep and two rooms wide. There is a first-floor rear access.

The exterior is three storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window facade above the ground floor. The right side of the ground floor features a four-panel door. To the left is a 20th-century shop door with a shop window. Sash windows with four panes are found throughout; one window lacks horns, and the second-floor window on the left is boxed.

The interior has not been inspected but may contain features of interest.
