Description

Magdalen Almshouses, dated 1863, are located on the north side of Magdalen Road. Constructed from Heavitree stone, the building is two storeys tall and features two and three light casement windows. It has a gabled porch and a bargeboarded gable, topped with a slate roof and a chimney cluster. The almshouses front Denmark Road and, along with Nos 1 to 16 (consecutive) and the surrounding wall, form a cohesive group.
