Early C19. Slightly later, plain red brick, three storey block on corner of Barnfield Road. Three window front to Southernhay with three-light sash windows some partly bricked up. Sash windows with glazing bars, marginal glazing on the ground floor. Doorway in Barnfield Road. Parapet, hipped slate roof.

Nos 15 to 28 (consec). Nos 30 to 36 (consec), Nos 38 to 40 (consec). Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Nos 45, 46 and No 52 form a group.
