Description

1 St Bartholomews is a two-storey building featuring a red brick base and a yellow brick first floor, topped with a tiled roof. It has four intact sash windows with glazing bars and a bay window on the ground floor facing Dover Road. The entrance includes porch pilasters, moulded brackets, and a hood, leading to a four-panel bead flush door. The building dates from the late 18th century and earlier, with nine-inch segmental arches above the ground floor windows. It is part of the Bartlemas complex associated with St Bartholomews Hospital, forming a group with other nearby structures.
