Description

The Iron Footbridge, built in 1814, is a delicate cast-iron structure located over the entrance to Cathedral Close. It carries a footpath that runs along the top of the City Wall. The bridge is inscribed with the names "Burnet Patch, Mayor: R Trewman, Receiver." This bridge is part of a group of listed buildings in Cathedral Close.
