Description

12 and 13 Cathedral Close is a building that has been very badly damaged and almost entirely rebuilt. It features a single-storey frontage made of Heavitree stone, primarily composed of coursed rubble. The building has four windows, which include modern lattice casements with two, three, and four lights. It has a slate roof. Inside, there is a wrought-iron gate adorned with entwined initials "J. R." This building is likely the Gatehouse to the Abbots' Lodge, which was located directly behind it. All the listed buildings in Cathedral Close are part of a group.
