Description

Nos 42 to 46 on Magdalen Street is a three-storey stucco building, likely constructed around 1830. It features moulded window architraves and well-crafted door surrounds, with those at Nos 44 and 45 sharing a single lintel. A poor-quality first-floor bay has been added to No 46 at a later date. The building has sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, and six-panel doors with panelled reveals. There are area railings present, and while the cornice and parapet are visible, the roof is not. This group includes Nos 39 and 40, as well as 49 and 50, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble.
