Description

No. 44 New Street is an early 19th-century building that has been altered. It is two stories high with a four-window stucco front and is set back from the street. The entrance features an early 19th-century doorcase with a radial bar fanlight and slender pilasters. The sash windows have had their glazing bars removed. The roof is slate, and there are hung slates on the sides, with an attic window in the end gable. Nos. 44 and 46 form a group.
