Description

No 33, known as the Star Hotel, and No 35 are 18th-century buildings located on New Street. They are two stories tall with an attic and feature a stucco exterior. The buildings have modillion cornices and a slate roof, with a small dormer on the left side. The doorcases and splay bays exhibit 19th-century woodwork, while the center glazing bars are the only remaining original features. No 35 has a date of 1782 inscribed on the rainwater head, and it includes four sash windows on the first floor with exposed frames.
