Description

78 High Street is a building likely dating from the 18th century. It is three stories tall and features two flush frame sash windows on the second floor, which have glazing bars. The brick exterior is limewashed, and there are two wide, three-light canted bow windows on the first floor, also with glazing bars. The building has a modern shop front and a hipped slate roof. There is one window on the return to the west. This property, along with Nos 68 and 72 to 78, forms a group and also connects with the continuation of premises in New Street.
