Description

15 High Street is a building with probable origins in the early 18th century. It has two storeys made of brick, featuring a brick eaves cornice and a steep pantile roof. The first floor includes a rectangular bay window with hung sashes and glazing bars, situated above a shop front that has grooved pilasters and a fascia. There is a bow window with glazing bars, which likely has replaced glazing. A modern door is located beneath a rectangular fanlight with a rendered lintel. The building also has a basement. It is part of a group that includes Nos 15 to 19 (odd), 19A, 21, 23, and 23A.
