Description

This is an 18th-century building on the South Side of High Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with a pantile roof and a wooden eaves cornice. The front has two windows, with rusticated lintels and keystones above them. The windows are hung sashes and contain glazing bars, except for the single ground-floor window which lacks this feature. A late 19th-century shop front has been added. It forms a group with numbers 29 to 35 (odd), 35A, 37 to 69 (odd), and 73 to 93 (odd). Numbers 37 to 41 (odd) are also of local interest.
