Description
32 High Street is an early to mid-19th century building featuring three storeys constructed of red brick, topped with a modillion eaves cornice. The facade includes three windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars. These windows are adorned with rusticated lintels that have keystones, and there are string courses at the cills. On the first floor, there are two canted bay windows and one additional window. The bays rest on a moulded cornice situated between the ground and first floors, supported by three grooved columns that were part of a former shop front. This shop front features a large hung sash window with glazing bars beneath an ornamental iron frieze. To the right, there is a round-arched passage doorway, while the left side has a half-glazed door with an ornamental rectangular fanlight and a rusticated lintel. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 16 to 46 (even), 46A, 48 to 64 (even), 64A, and 66 to 100 (even).
