Description

17 High Street is a 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall and is rendered. It features a pantile roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The facade has four windows, one of which is blocked, all of which are hung sashes with glazing bars and rendered lintels. On the ground floor, there is one window with later shutters and a door made up of six fielded panels, topped by a rectangular fanlight with four panes. To the left, there is a mid-19th century shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 15 to 19 (odd), 19A, 21, 23, and 23A.
