Description
22 High Street is a 18th-century brick building that stands two storeys tall with a basement, having been remodeled in the early 19th century. It features a Welsh slate roof and has nine windows adorned with carved lintels that include keystones. The entrance is framed by engaged fluted Tuscan columns, topped with a plain frieze and a small dentil cornice, accessed by five steps. The basement is rendered and has three windows on the left side, along with iron handrails and an area guard. To the left, there is a round-arched carriage entry that has a carved stucco head with a keystone and panelled doors. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 16 to 46 (even), 46A, 48 to 64 (even), 64A, and 66 to 100 (even).
