Description

Nos 25 and 27 on New Street are early 18th century brick houses with a painted finish and a slate roof. They feature eaves boards and flat arches with keystones above the first-floor flush frame sash windows, which now only have central glazing bars. To the right, there is an early 19th century wooden shop front. On the left, there is an early 18th century flat hood supported by shaped brackets over a six-panel door that includes a narrow fanlight, alongside another flush frame sash window with glazing bars. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 15 to 31 (odd).
