Description

No. 92 on High Street is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is three stories high and features a plaster exterior that has been colourwashed. The roof is covered with slates, and there is an eaves board. The building has two flush frame sash windows on the second floor, which no longer have glazing bars. On the first floor, there is a canted splay bay sash window that now has glazing bars only in the center. The ground floor, which was recessed in 1902, includes a shop front with a prominent fascia displaying the name J J Shepherd, Goldsmith Jeweller. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 92 to 116 on the street.
