The New Dolphin Hotel is a well-known coaching inn located on the north side of High Street. This building dates back to the 18th century and features three stories with four sash windows, which currently do not have glazing bars. The front is plastered and includes a wide porch supported by elongated Tuscan columns leading to a central carriageway. There are added square bays on the ground floor and a band on the second floor, topped with a parapet and covered with slate roofing. The hotel was originally the medieval Manor House of the Courtenays.
