Description

This is an early 19th-century building of two properties, 96 and 96A, located on the south side of High Street. It was designed as a single composition. The building is three storeys high and faced with stucco. The second floor has two flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor features two shallow bow windows with three lights each, also sash windows with glazing bars, set within wooden cases with slender pilasters. Pilasters extend upwards to the eaves cornice. The roof is covered in slates. Two modern shop fronts are present. The building forms a group with numbers 92 to 116 (even) on High Street.
