Description
Nos 135A and 135B on High Street is a three-storey building with a three-window facade, dating from the 18th century. The brick front is now painted, and features canted bay windows on the first floor. There are shop fronts on either side of the central carriageway, which retains its original panelled doors. The building has a band at the second floor and part of a band at the first floor. It also features a wooden eaves cornice supported by brackets and a steep slate roof. There may be an older timber-framed house located behind this structure. The carriageway serves as an entrance to Central Place, and Nos 135A, 135B, and 137 form a group together.
