Description

Barclays Bank Limited is a former 18th-century building located on the south side of High Street. The front of the building was restored, which required almost complete rebuilding in 1961. It is two storeys high with an attic and features five sash windows with glazing bars, stone heads with keys, and a wooden cornice below the parapet. The ground floor has two large bow windows with three-light sashes that also have glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a wooden doorcase with Tuscan columns and an open pediment. The roof is covered with slates. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 92 to 116 (even).
