Nos. 63 and 64 on Magdalen Street are good three-storey buildings with two-window red brick fronts, dating from around 1810. They feature patent stone bands and sash windows. The ground floor has round-headed windows and doorways with reeded imposts, and there are six-panel doors. The sash windows include glazing bars. The buildings have a hipped slate roof and are set below the level of the road embankment, with railings along the roadway.
