Description

This is a detached cottage located approximately 120 yards north-north-west of Andrewshays Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century or earlier and is positioned at right angles to the road. The cottage is constructed of colour-washed stone rubble with cob above. It features a thatched roof covered in corrugated iron, with hipped and gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with small casements that include one original window with very small panes. There are two doors on the flanks of the cottage, and a brick stack is located at the gable end.
