Description

Woodhays Farmhouse is a circa 16th-century farmhouse with an 18th-century wing, creating an L-shaped plan. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and cob, with a concrete tile roof featuring gabled ends. The house is two storeys high. It has circa 19th-century casement windows. The original north wing contains a two-light chamfered mullion window and a chamfered wood doorframe with a cambered arch, which may have been reset. Inside, there is a plank and muntin screen to the passage. The interior also features heavy stopped chamfer ceiling beams with run-out stops, and a chamfered fireplace bressummer.
