Description
A range of farm buildings surrounds a yard immediately east of Lower Comberoy Farmhouse, dating from the 19th century. The buildings are mainly constructed of random rubble volcanic trap, with some cob, and all are now covered by corrugated iron roofs. The cob barn to the north may date back to the 18th century and features hewn, slender timbers. The other buildings have sawn 19th-century roof carpentry, including a tie beam, a king-post that is moulded at the base, and diagonal struts to the principal rafters. To the south are barns, and to the east is a linhay. This group of buildings was previously listed together with Lower Comberoy Farmhouse.
