THE FIEXTON 1. ----------- 1481 Jubilee Memorial SY 09 NE 1/15 28.4.52. II

  1. Tall brick square column, somewhat in C18 style, to commemorate 1897 jubilee of Queen Victoria. Stone steps, base, and cap with cornice, surmounted by orb and cross. 4 raised brick panels or each side, and on north and south sides stone panels with inscriptions. Cornice has egg and dart bedmould, above frieze with triglyph fluting.
