Description

Jacob's Ladder is a 3-flight wooden staircase located on Peak Hill Road, dating back to its original construction in the early 19th century. Although it has been renewed since it was first built, this structure has become a local tradition and a landmark. The staircase leads from the cliff top at Connaught Gardens down to a terrace just above beach level.
