Description

Drake's Thatch is a cottage that is part of a row, possibly dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast cob on stone footings and features a thatched roof. The building has a single depth, two-room plan with end stacks and brick shafts, and it stands two storeys high.

The front of the cottage has an asymmetrical arrangement of three windows. The middle window on the first floor is blocked, while the other two are 19th-century two-light casements. On the ground floor, there are three two-light windows, and near the center, there is a 20th-century weatherboarded open porch.
