Description

The Travellers Rest is a cottage from the 18th century, constructed of partially rendered stone and cob, with a thatched roof featuring gable end stacks. The building has a symmetrical two-room layout and a large outshut at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range, although the windows have been replaced in the 20th century. A central thatched porch adds to its character, and there is a large eyebrow dormer on the rear outshut.
