Description
This barn, dating from the 16th century, is located approximately 100 meters south-west of Bindon Manor House. It is constructed of flint rubble with ashlar dressings and features a thatched roof with stone coping at the gable ends. The barn consists of six bays and has a cart entrance leading to the threshing floor at the third bay. The top section above the cartway is weatherboarded, and there are ventilation slits along the structure. The gable ends include pigeon holes with small quatrefoil openings above. Inside, the barn has raised jointed cruck trusses. There is a 20th-century stone extension on the east side.
