Description

The Fairmile Inn dates to the 18th century. It is a two-story building faced with stucco, with a brick west end and a slate roof. It has five sash windows, each with glazing bars and shutters, and ground floor window boxes. The inn’s name is displayed within a molded surround. To the east is a barn extension constructed of red brick, featuring a wide archway for doors. The barn has a scallop tile roof. The Fairmile Inn is part of a group that includes a row of cottages to the east.
