Description

The Vine is an 18th-century inn located on Buckden High Street. It is two storeys high and features a stable and hay loft to the south, along with an outshut at the rear. The building is constructed of soft red brick, which has been painted and rendered, and it has plain tile roofs. There are two gault brick ridge stacks. On the ground floor, there are five hung sash windows with glazing bars, and the entrance has a 19th-century doorcase with plain pilasters and a cornice, leading to a half-glazed modern door. The first floor has five modern casement windows.
