Description

Valency House is an 18th-century house situated on the east side of Buckden High Street. It is gabled towards the street and built of red brick, with a gable parapetted slate roof and end and ridge stacks. The front features three first-floor hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within gauged flat brick arches. There is one blocked window of a similar type. A flat-roofed red brick extension is present on the south facade, featuring three hung sash windows with glazing bars. An early 19th-century door is likely to have been reset.
