Description

This 19th-century stile is located 200 meters north of Columbjohn Farmhouse and is constructed from fragments of the 16th-century Columbjohn Mansion. Made of granite, it features three horizontal slabs with rounded top edges, which are morticed into two granite uprights that have moulded caps. To the right, there is a third upright that serves as a gatepost for an early 19th-century five-bar timber field gate. The stile is situated on the footpath that connects Columbjohn Chapel to Killerton.
