Description

Land Cottage and Lancet Barn, built approximately 23 metres north-north-east of Land Farm House, is a Grade II listed building made of rubble stone with a gabled roof covered in Roman tiles. The south gable features weatherboarding.

This linear building is oriented north to south and has been constructed into a bank. The former stables have two storeys on the principal (west) elevation and one storey on the rear (east) elevation, which provided access to the former loft space. The 20th-century doors and windows on both the front and rear elevations appear to reuse the existing stable openings. On the rear elevation, half dormers indicate the position of the rear windows, and there is a set of stone steps leading to the right-hand door.

The interior was not inspected in 2013 but may contain the cider press mentioned in the original listing.
