Description

The kitchen garden walls, located approximately 220 meters west of Escot, are likely from the 18th century and were patched in the 19th century. They are constructed of red brick with random bonding that tends towards English bond, and feature stone coping. The tall walls enclose a large former kitchen garden situated on a south-facing slope. There are gateways at both the west and east ends, with the western gateway featuring a round-headed arch. At the upper end of the garden, there is a late 19th to early 20th century glasshouse. These garden walls are part of a notable group of listed buildings set within a landscaped park near Escot.
