Description

Albert Terrace is a small, early 19th century terrace of four stucco-faced houses located on Salcombe Road. Numbers 1 to 3 are similar in design, while number 4 is larger and may be slightly earlier. They have gable-ended slate roofs, and numbers 1 to 3 feature a bracketed eaves cornice. Each of numbers 1 to 3 has two windows, one of which is blind, whereas number 4 has three windows. The windows are recessed sash windows, retaining their original glazing bars in number 4. The recessed doors are mostly modern replacements, with the exception of number 3, which has six panels, and number 1, which retains two panels. Each doorway is topped with a rectangular fanlight. Number 1 features a trellis porch. The Hollies Guest House, numbers 1 to 4 (consec) Albert Terrace, Barrington Villa and Garden Wall of Barrington Villa form a group.
