Description

The Toll House on Salcombe Road, dating from 1633, is a low single-storey building finished in stucco. It features a three-bay Doric portico with a pediment and has a slate roof. The building is topped with tall paired octagonal chimneys. There are three casement windows, which have been altered. It was likely constructed around the same time as the nearby Bridge. The Toll House and the Bridge together create a notable group.
