Description

Radway Guest House, located in Radway, dates from around 1850. This two-storey building is constructed of red brick and features rusticated stucco quoins. It has a low-pitched gable end slate roof with a fretted fascia along the projecting eaves and bargeboards with finials at the gable ends. The front has a double aspect with recessed sash windows that retain their glazing bars, and there are stuccoed flat arches above the windows. A central porch has a tent roof and marginal glazing, with weatherboarding at the base. There is a lower extension on the south side that has similar eaves and stucco quoins, but it only has windows at the rear. Radway Guest House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 and 2 (Enfield) on Vicarage Road (East Side).
