Description
Sidlands Lodge, also known as the Constitutional Club, is a pair of semi-detached houses built around 1830-1840. They are two stories tall and constructed of stucco, featuring low-pitched gable end slate roofs and wide bracketed eaves. Each house has two windows on the east front facing Radway, with Sidlands having recessed sash windows that retain their glazing bars. There are block sills and two similar windows in the basement. The Constitutional Club features two superimposed canted bay windows, each with three lights and some glazing bars still intact. The entrances are located at each end of the building, facing north and south. The gables include semi-circular windows, and there are enclosed stucco porches that are flanked by outer pilasters and inner Ionic columns, topped with an entablature and blocking course.
